Uh-oh. Re-runs?

I have been missing these guys, the comic has really gotten away from its roots. Not saying I don’t find it funny but it would’ve been cool if these two could still get some appearances.

Do reruns from the beginning mean the strip’s over or just that Dunlap is on vacation?

Not just reruns, isn’t this one of the very first strips?

This isn’t the end of Ink Pen is it, now that they’re re-running? Just a vacation. Right? Right?

I sure hope it isn’t over! I know I can’t speak for everyone, but in my opinion this has been one of the more out-rightly funny comics that I’ve found so far. According to this, Phil Dunlap is working on Adam@Home, so maybe he’s just put this one on hiatus for a bit.

Nothing like a comic whine to turn the day heady, yet maudlin. Think of all the hits you missed. Enjoy the old stuff.

Since I came in late to this strip, I like seeing where this all came from.

@rjboles
They’ve done plenty of reruns already this year, just not this far back.

That’s easy enough, I did it myself. Usually I just go back one day (sometimes GoComics calendar is a little funny) then go to the calendar, select the earliest year available year, then select the earliest month available, then the earliest available day. When I said sometimes GoComics can be funny I’ve found that sometimes the calendar doesn’t want to change the date when it’s on the current day’s comic but if you go back one day the whole catalog GoComics has for that’s comic strip is then fully available. Let’s folks like you and me go back to strips before we started reading a particular comic.

No-one seems to have an answer for the original question(s). Is Phil Dunlap just on vacation/hiatus, or has the strip ended. I love this comic and laugh pretty much every day at it. The humor and comic book (as well as other) references are spot on! Please continue!
