“King of Rod”? Shouldn’t it be “King of Road”? If that’s a shortened form, “King of Rad” would have been a pretty cool double entrendre.

Song or not I hope you’re not drawing from personal experience Bea. I know what it’s like for a car to come between you and an acquaintance, a few years back I scratched the car of a girl I knew and we pretty much became enemies since then. She had a lot of nerve too, I only went near the car to fetch her water bottle and her bad parking job is the reason I scratched the door.

The “King of Rod” should work at a more leisurely pace. Take the scenic route. Ease through the gears, rather than stomping on the accelerator. Polish Jolene’s chrome and make her engine purr. Never take that sweet ride for granted.
