Hubris: "But when her producers talked about doing an HBO special called “The Rhodes Less Traveled”, she ran out and got the name-change forms that afternoon."

And of course, ‘Dusty’ is just a nickname. Her real name is Euphenia. And ‘Rhodes’ was a married name. Her maiden name was Dernblatt. It’s so silly how TV personalities change their names all willy-nilly. Especially that new guy- Willy Nilleigh.

Funny you’d mention that now. I just finished reading about Hokusai, the Japanese woodblock print artist active 200 years ago. He changed names over 30 times, whenever he changed his art style. (Then again, he moved apartments over 90 times, whenever he couldn’t stand the smell at the current place (he didn’t like doing housecleaning)).

I think my favorite show-biz name is “Yahoo Serious”.
Another good one is “Red Buttons”. And how about “Chill Wills”? And wasn’t there a “Dusty Rivers”? And “Dusty Springfield”.
    OK, I’m done.
