Life's a series of ups and downs, which is good news if you're on a mountain bike.
Hubris! is the story of people who enjoy their weekends more than their jobs. Hard to believe, right? Wandering in and out of The Outdoor Galore Store, the woods, the skatepark, the river and trouble, they'll risk their lives and limbs to entertain you by entertaining themselves.
Grab your helmet and whatever toys that go with it. Spend your free time with Hubris.
Check out Greg Cravens' other strip, The Buckets.

Looks like an evil elf to me. The one that works for Santa and damages each toy before he wraps it.

There’s a comic coming later where Paste innumerates the names he’s been called. ‘Evil Elf’. I wish I’d thought of that one.

Even Paste’s mom (or stepmother?) called him a “garden gnome”!

Greg I’ve read the whole of this new strip now and I can’t figure out how ‘Paste’ is Hubris’ brother. I guess I’m asking do they have the same mother or same father?

This is the first comic I read every morning. Love It! There are lessons to be learned for little Paste(y) One.

Paste actually has a point…there are many people rich and famous these days and no one knows why…they’re like living tech stocks from the 90s.

Half brother. They have the same mom. I’ve never explained, in 250-odd strips, about Hubris’ dad, but we’ll get there. Paste’s dad is a Corpie Exec. That crops up later on.

Oh, Paste learns (or fails to learn) lots of things over time. But there’s still that clinging to Future Fame thing. You know how you tell if a guy is middle aged? He finally admits he won’t be getting super-powers.

I’m glad I was too smart to be so stupid to think I knew everything at that age or now.

hey, you can hit it big…..get drafted in the NBBKL (National Bean Bag Kicker League)

@Ryan
I heard the real money is in the IFPA, the International Footbag Players Association. Hacky Sack is trademarked, and they don’t give any corporate support to any of the competitive associations or events, so to be able to compete the pros use the term Footbag. The IFC, International Footbag Committee is mainly interested in getting Footbag competition recognized as an Olympic Event.
Hey who of us of a certain age ever thought there would ever be a lucrative skateboard competition? I think Tony Hawk did pretty well financially and “hit it big”.
