Housebroken exposes what happens when two sides of the black community -- the hip-hop and the suburban -- clash under one roof. Watkins’ characters are endearing and cool. Housebroken comes with attitude and a sense of humor that appeals to younger audiences, yet with crossover appeal to readers of all ages who identify with the off-the-wall antics.
