    I read that previous Medicare payment cuts had caused a shortage of primary care physicians (supposedly most concerned with preventive care) and a corresponding surge in specialists.

    Now the Obama administration wants to remedy this by increasing Medicare payments to primary care doctors and cutting payments to the specialists who treat the most expensive patients: cardiologists and oncologists. The resulting shift in practitioners will affect everyone, on or off Medicare. So my advice is, never get heart disease or cancer.

    And this has nothing to do with Obamacare, which can only make this kind of meddling worse. Where did the idea come from that it is the government’s job do decide how many doctors of what type there should be or how much they get paid?

    l say salery cap at about 2.5 million net per year,
    and tax the shlt out of foriegn tourists making more than
    1 million a year
