That’s funny but true, I actually had that happen on a cruise once. A gentleman and his new bride had left their camera in the cabin and wanted a picture of themselves on deck at sunset.
I took some shots with my camera and thanks to modern technology, was able to upload them to my computer and send them to him.
They sent me a very nice thank-you card ( on line of course. )

This happened to me last weekend at my 55th HS reunion! A couple asked me to take a picture of them. Id send it to them, only I have no idea who they were!

These strips aren’t all old reruns. The team that worked with Jim is continuing his legacy under his name. Since the strip was brought back in 1997 ( Unger had retired in 1992 but than brought HERMAN back in ‘97 ), it has been a mixture of classics and new material done so well that you can’t tell the difference.

On one trip I did my own version of the joke. A couple of girls asked if I could take their picture, so I pointed my camera and snapped then waited for them to say no, with their camera. I did the picture with their camera then said they needed to be specific. :)

But this one works best as using film and paper prints.

I’ve always enjoyed the ramshackle portraits, bee bee eyes, large noses, and the women’s cloud like styled hair.
