Hold the phone — Herb has his ‘own’ restaurant and buys coffee? Why is that disturbing…

I’d rather pay a buck at Wawa, which is a chain of convenience stores in the mid-Atlantic states, many of which have gas pumps, too. They are famous for their coffee, which I believe is even better than Dunkin’ and definitely better than Fourbux Coffee.

Wawa is named for the area where it is based, the Wawa section of Media, PA, near Philadelphia. Wawa, PA is named for the onomatopic Lenni Lenape word for the Canada goose, which appears in the convenience store’s logo.

What a blast of nostalgia! I remember the coffee and french dips at Phillipe’s! Also the Pantry and the long lines of foreign tourists from the Hotel Figueroa waiting to be seated!
Thanks!

Buy some coffee at the grocery store and brew it at home.
