    Payne had to make it into a vee-hee-cle. That’s his MO.

    @Ionizer

    You haven’t noticed? Almost every one of Mr. Payne’s cartoons involve a vehicle. I have a hard time viewing “observation” as a fetish, myself.

    If you read the specs, you’ll see they also shaved a smidge off the form factor. All to say it only weighs a pound. Darn good thing they did. My doctor told me my growing back problems are due to lugging around my massive 1.3 pound iPad 2.

    True, and you seem intelligent, well-spoken, informed and grounded. I agree, payne likes to put his subject in a car with a bumper sticker.

    Hmmm… “Gesture Search with your Posterior”… Wonder if there’s a patent on that :-)

    Months ago Lonecat made the initial observation about Payne and what I shall call Payne’s fetish with vehicles.
    It’s become a glaringly bad habit.
