Because we’ve got one that works now, but pre-existing rightwing idiocy still doesn’t seem to be covered.

Ah, Payne; it’s working where it’s ALLOWED to work. Google up ACA, Kentucky, Daily Beast.

What’s an “Apple”? What’s “Windows”? “Ma’am, of what use is a newborn child?”

    Adrian said on Holbert:
to an abyss between the left and right..
to a balance between the conservatives and liberals – created by the two …..(loving man and loving their nation) , working together……without hatred, intolerance , ect….”

    And here he said:
“I’d prefer to see the insurance companies gone….
But, maybe this is better .
It must be given a chance.
Those who condemn …we do not need….”

    Then he said:
““A product that does not work” ??
Of course, this is never said, as it is negative thinking….
Such as automobiles and computers….both a POS when “new-born”….
    define POS
This poli-toon shows prejudices and its evils…”

Am I the only one who sees a lack of consistency here, maybe even down right hypocrisy.

ObamaCare was designed from the very beginning to fail. That is why Nancy didn’t care if no one read it. It will fail and be replaced by the single payer system that the obamaites really want. Then the government will have complete control over our entire lives. They get to send you to the doctor of the governments choice and the government will decide the course of treatment, including the decision to provide treatment or not. Get ready for the death panel.

And once again, how is this any different from what insurance companies have done? Insurance companies send you a list of “approved” doctors. They tell me over and over how to run my exams, and what medications I should have prescribed instead. And they decide whether you “deserve” treatment or not. Same old wine, different bottle. And the results are in: we spend far more than other countries, and are sicker and have higher infant mortalities as well. Time for a change. Don’t like Obamacare? Change it, or replace it with something better. The old system will remain broken, no matter how nostalgic you become.

Approved doctors?? How strange. That sounds like some kind of dictatorship. Here in Canada, where we have a single-payer system, you can go to any doctor at all, because they are all approved. And you and the doctor decide on the treatment. And the patient never sees any of the paperwork. Gosh, I would hate to live under a corporate dictatorship.

“Designed (to fail)”? No way! That would mean that Pelosi, Reid, and their Minions of Ignorance would have a sintilla of intellect…
Obamacare is nothing but a random collection of stupid blunders bundled into a paperweight.

Even better: if you want to be on the list (because if you aren’t, you won’t see patients) you have to sign a contract signing away pretty much every reason you went into health care in the first place.

You don’t have to join the panel. You can starve. It’s your choice…..

Here’s an interesting story about Canadian health care that just was on the news tonight. Three years ago there was a man, in Ontario, in his fifties, I would guess, who fell into a coma after a brain operation. He has been comatose ever since and on life support. The doctors felt that he would never regain consciousness and they wanted to take him off life support. His family disagreed and took the case to court. It went through three levels and just today the Supreme Court of Canada ruled that the doctors can’t take him off life support without his consent (which is not available) or the consent of his family, and they won’t consent. So he will say on life support as long as he lives. The cost is about a million dollars a year, which is of course paid through the provincial health insurance system. Obviously his family would not be able to pay for this care by themselves. So here is a socialist single-payer system which is keeping someone alive at great cost because of the wishes of his family. (I’m fully in agreement with the decision, by the way, even though it’s partly my tax dollars which are keeping this man alive.)

Whereas an insurance company in the US would just let the fellow die?

So if you don’t have the money (and the foresight) to buy a super duper policy, you’re at the mercy of the corporate death panel. Whereas in the socialist single-payer system, the court has ruled that the doctors can’t pull the plug without your consent. Hmm.
