Boehner’s boneheads did the tossing. As to that Alaskan Cruz line, stomping all over our veterans for the publicity? AS a vet, that was totally disgusting, but in keeping with Sarah Plain and small. AS to the the idiot calling Obama a Muslim, maybe the TEA party types like him need to take a second peek a the First Amendment, that says there’s absolutely nothing wrong with being a Muslim, Buddhist, Jew, or “non-evangelical” in this nation!! That Confederate battle flag (btw, that’s NOT the “confederate states flag”) is FAR more unAmerican!

Good thing he didn’t do it, but the pirates will, of course, pretend he did. If you can’t win, lie.

They objected to paying taxes because the colonies weren’t allowed representation in the British government.

Yeah but there seems to be something wrong with Christians like me when you can’t join a book club or say you piece of mind as a Christian with out being called a bigot. Yeah Christians are not allowed freedom of speech.

So the KKK is not a “Christian Hate Group”? That’s as good as the FOX spokesman saying FOX doesn’t lie! Hasn’t been anything like FOX since the NAZI Ministry of Propaganda. At least they were honest enough to admit what they were. Of course you might believe Rush when he got busted with 1,000 Viagra and a 7 year supply of Oxycontin, and said his Guatemalan household maid bought them for him without his knowledge! Must be a well paid maid! He looks like Jaba the Hut so imagine the only use he has for Viagra is he has a goat in a pen somewhere.

Right. Obama, by not signing a government C.R. THAT NEVER APPEARED ON HIS DESK is somehow guilty of closing monuments. It was Ted Cruz who closed the monuments. Put blame on him. But the truly serious damage is not being done to WWII vets. It’s being done to Iraq and Afghanistan vets, whose backlog is increasing every day that this stupid, purely Republican shut down continues.

Yes, jack, we Christians ARE allowed freedom of speech. But you don’t seem to understand what free speech is. Freedom of speech isn’t freedom from being critisized for said speech, it’s the governmen not limiting your speech based on it’s content (with a couple of exceptions). Those who label you are exercizing their free speech. The fact that you’ve expressed your misunderstanding of the First Amendment is an example of free speech – anybody can say any old thing no matter how crazy or wrong it may be. Unless of course the feds have sent agents to your computer location to switch it off and duct tape your mouth. They haven’t have they?

Btw, the idea that Christians in the USA aren’t allowed to express themselves it ludicrous. We’re not only the majority in this country, but Christian symbols, holidays, houses of worship, evangelizing and prosletizing is front-and-center in every part of our country. Every part I’ve seen anyway. Christians on the street corner, on the TV, on radio, on billboards, in literature, movies, all over the place. For some of us to act as if we’re a put-upon group is not only nuts, but violates one of the core principles of our religion that tells us not to lie.

^CasualBrowser: As a Buddhist, and veteran, and American who believes in the ENTIRE Constitution, I find no problem with a nativity scene and menorah on our public courthouse LAWN at the “holiday season”. I DO however object to biblical verse, or any religious text, being displayed INSIDE THE COURT! When folks say the pledge of Allegiance, when it comes to the two words added in 1953, I simply don’t say them (because to say “under god” would be hypocritical) and I do feel they should be removed.

That Constitution, is by Article Six, as well as the First Amendment, proof that the fathers intended a SECULAR government, where ALL religions would be free to practice, but NOT have any religion imposed upon the people, a concept even the most “Christian” of them, despised, because of the history of theocracy!

Check these out, and don’t give me that 10 commandments don’t belong in public buildings it is in the Supreme Court. Counties and small towns can’t afford to fight the ACLU.

These things are happening in the Military, in public life and going over to our private life. Sorry, I know this stuff is a little hard to fine but search engines don’t even bring it up sometimes, or mix in a liberal view point with it, explain that.
