Does it have the male compensation package?

This must mean he really really likes it.

An editorial cartoonist trying to make two points is like a dog trying to stand on one leg (as evidenced by the confused comments).
1) The Corvette has ALWAYS been a very attractive car for a certain type of man at a certain age (like my orthodontist).
2) And, of course, if anyone likes anything, the Surgeon General has to warn them never to use it.

@Radish, male compensation package? Good one.

Useless car. What good is it? Fastest car between gas stations.

Its a very pretty four wheeled motorcycle..with trunk space.
Good comment Radish, though I’ve seen a few women driving them – probably part of the divorce settlement. ;)
With more 80mph highways opening up in the nation, we may see more muscle cars. I did enjoy the autobahn in Germany tho. Wish I’d had a better car tho.
Cheerfully,
C.

I’d like to have a Veyron, but if I had one I don’t know what I’d do with it.

@ Respectful
There is a corvette in my neighborhood driven by a woman and the liscence number is DIVORCE. I figure either she got it in the settlement or she is a Tammy Wynette fan, maybe both.

Another version of the overpriced, overrated, over-hyped fiberglass butter dish!
Meh!

Ah, the Chevrolet Corvette… a product of decades of automotive engineering, its engine specifically tuned to cause the brains of attractive young women to think “the man in that car is virile, well-endowed and not at all balding!”
…or, at least, that’s what a great many of its owners would LIKE to believe….

Government Motors might improve their bottom line if they promoted this model as the “Michelle”.

True.

The Michelle Corvette, I like it.
.
Much classier than Stingray.

Before you buy one ask your car insurance company for an estimate and be sitting down when you hear it.

My friend’s three year old Corvette moves two people quite well, with over 30 MPG fuel economy, and performance. Much better than those 6 MPG SUVs also carrying only one or two people 88% (or more) of their lives!
Of course having driven those other “plastic cars”, namely Lotus Elans, for over 40 years, also getting high performance and good fuel economy, must say that Corvettes are rather huge by comparison. (My brother had one of the second year (64) “Original” stingrays, many years ago.)
BTW, some “old lady” hogging the center lane at 5mph slower than the flow of traffic, regardless the speed limit, is over 500 times more likely to CAUSE an accident, than someone traveling WITH the flow of traffic at 10 MPH above the “posted” limit on limited access highways. Also used to cruise in Nevada and Montana with “reasonable and prudent” rather than speed limits at well over 100 mph, quite safely, and the state patrol just ignored it unless you were doing something stupid like unsafe passing, weaving in an out, or driving DUII.
It IS the drivers blocking traffic flow, ignoring “right of way” rules, or failing to maintain their vehicles who should lose their license, not ’vette types “doing what comes naturally” in vehicles designed to do that safely.
Sorry folks, pet peeve!!
