wow 2 of the most uninformed comments i have ever seen… hey d_leg that is like asking "why do you keep bringing up the struggles of the founding fathers with your 2nd amendment arguments?
1. What does this cartoon mean? 2. Mhic — what do you mean, a set-up? Do you mean that Rosa Parks was a long-time civil rights activist, and that the civil rights groups in Montgomery had been looking for a good occasion to organize against the segregation of buses? That’s all true. And what difference could it make? I honor Mrs. Parks all the more for her long years of commitment to the cause. Now please explain your comment.
What a coincidence that the Supreme Court is deciding whether the Voting Rights Act is still germaine while many southern states are putting more restrictions on voting. Insert southern redneck joke here.
Of course, there are no investigations of violations in MI, OH, PA, NJ, or any other non-Southern (whatever that is) state. All states except the few singled out by the Act are as pure as the driven snow.
The problem is that no one is talking about bringing back Jim Crow or assaulting the Civil Rights Act. And no one is coming after the second amendment either. You don’t what this toon is about either.
