Benghazi happened almost 3 months ago. Let’s got for a reality check. I would call this debacle “Blamegate.” Regardless of the tragedy of losing four people in Benghazi, it appears there will never be a credible resolution to COMFORTABLY satisfy all parties. The finger pointing and ineptness has been evident from the beginning. First Clinton was going to take the fall, then came Petraeus and his zipper problems, and now we have Susan Rice getting hammered. Including “Fast and Furious”, there are the deaths of 5 Americans still unresolved, probably permanently mired in the mud of political cover-ups.

The thing about this is that if you have ever watched police procedurals you will see that they often do not let the facts of the case out. . The reason for this is that it makes it easier for the investigators to decipher the noise from the signal. If something comes in that mentions something not mentioned in the press release, then that is probably a better clue than one that mentions only what was released. . Beyond this is the idea that with terrorists attacks, there is often a number of groups that take “credit” for the attack. . If you are a terrorist and you just pulled off an attack on an Ambassador of the great satin and you’re sitting back in your cave watching the fallout… then you see that the United States of America is blaming a stupid video: what is your response? . You’re more likely to pop out of your hole and shout. “It was ME! I did it! Ok, I also translated the film amd I released it to the Mullahs so they would get their under turbins in bunch, and there would be protests to cover our attack! But I didn’t do all that for a silly video, I did it because America Blah Blah Bl…” BLAMMO, Gotcha Abdul! . Let’s force our intelligence community to expose their hand, shall we Righties? Let’s not trust the military to do their job!
Thank god the loyal Republicans were able to expose our intelligence operations and endanger the lives of Libyans who aided our agents. It was their most heroic action since Scooter Libby revealed the name of an operative as revenge for her husband’s exposing the deliberate lies that pushed us into the Iraq war and cost thousands — not “four” but thousands — of American lives.
Well said! . It is a case of the Republicans being willing to play chicken with the Democrats because they know that the Dems will always turn away from putting party before country. . The Republicans are ALWAYS playing offense. You have to hand that to them anyway.
