Or you could have given more handouts to the Corporate Persons, as defined by Citizens United.
Get more of those Companies to vote for you.

Entitlements, race, and scaring women. That’s the way to go.

If only he had promised a massive giveaway of ‘stuff’ other people will have to pay for. That did work.

Wow, Payne is really after Romney now that Romney lost. A month ago he loved Romney. How soon they forget. It’s easier to find a scapegoat than to think about what went wrong.

His promises depended on who he was talking to at the time. When he was talking to rich people, he was promising free tax cuts to be paid for by the people he didn’t worry about.

@Ima:
Sorry, it’s just my day to answer you…..Just for the record, out of all the Obama speeches and soundbites, can you quote even one example where he said, “Vote for me, and I’ll give you (fill in the blank)”? Please specify date and location. Thanks.

Ima, top Republicans are now distancing themselves from comments like yours.
So which party do you belong to?

Obama promised nothing to people who do need help, but Romney promised yet more tax breaks to people who already have everything.

@Jase99
Actually, that is not true. The taxes paid by the “wealthy” wound not have gone down. It simply would have made more sense. Perhaps, if you had listened to someone other than those you already agreed with you may have known that.

@I Play One On TV
You don’t have to say it explicitly. You can let the meaning hide in what you do say. Perhaps you can tell me what is the fair share. That is why all benefits to the the “under prive ledged” have gone up to the degree that they have.

@Mneedle
We wouldn’t need higher taxes if we didn’t have so many sucking off of the rest of us. Margaret Thatcher said it best: the problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money.

Romney is so far out of the loop of the middle class American that he just cannot connect. Call it ‘inheritance’.
