Yeah, ‘cause no-one is employed by those companies. Tens of thousands didn’t lose jobs because of the Detroit bailout. And he overlooks the fact that those success stories have paid the government back their loans. But hey, why worry about the truth?

Payne, as always, a pain.

I thought all those “rich” were actually “job creators”?

You are very mis-informed and too stupid to insult. Has Solyndra paid the government back, for example?

As of 7/25/2012 GM still owes 23.49 billion to the taxpayers. Add in the tax breaks and UAW Motors is an unviable company, not able to compete in the free market without help.
The GM Motors bailout was the largest act of political graft ever perpetuated, all done in plain sight.

Sort of Lynx. The taxpayers invested $26 billion in GM stock. It’s now only worth $10 billion. We’re sucking wind on our investment. I hope GM recovers enough to repay us. It would mean that GM is truly healthy.

At least Obama didn’t start a whole war and funnel unaccounted billions to Halliburton and Blackwater in the hope of helping his oil industry buddies like, um, who?

Watch out behind you, guys. Romney Hood & Friar Paul are coming up behind you… & they’re driving a mile long freight train they need to fill up for their pals on Wall Street, Big Oil companies, not to mention Sheldon"Scarlett" Anderson!

Ohhhh! You mean like GM that ISN’T going to be paying us taxpayers back so Obama could buy them for the unions?

@Stephen Runnels
Fortunately we will never need to know since there won’t BE an Obama for the next 4 years!

Economist after economist have all concluded that the stimulus not only saved hundreds of thousands of jobs, but created many too. What did “w” do with his trillions in deficit spending, with almost three trillion of the 5 added since President Obama took office directly attributable to king george’s failed policies too.

But romney won’t do anything like that right? All he wants to do is cut taxes on the rich, raise taxes on the middle class, and cut two trillion from medicare.

Hey, all you whinny butted name calling lefty’s, try growing up. If you do not have anything useful to contribute, at least try getting
out of your ruts and provide some useful content.
Both sides make bad decisions, that’s a given. But the decisions that bring down the country are the ones to excited about. Unemployment is going nowhere. Taxes need to be evened out. Health care is earned, not rewarded. Social Security needs to be adjusted to reflect actual income.
Try for something productive and not third grade school yard antics.
