Yep it must be really hard for a lifetime government worker to understand hard work and success.

The centerpiece of the Rethuglican plan is an out of context quote.

The quote was in perfect context and everyone knows it.

No, no — she did it herself. No coaches taught her anything, and no parents ever drove her to practice. In fact, she built the practice facility herself, and she organized all the competitions so she could rise in the ranks. Then she raised the money for the London Olympics, flew there on her own money and won the gold.

Hello Neighbors,
No, she absolutely won her medals by sacrificing time with her family, putting practice and homework above a social life, and with a work ethic rare in Americans of all ages these days. Not even going to mention the money spent or the taxes the goverment is going to charge her and other medal winners for their medals and prize money. If we take what Obama said IN CONTEXT, she did NOT build the gyms where she practiced, the equipment on which she practiced, the roads and bridges she took to those places of practice. She did not build/maintain/operate the power companies and water companies on which she depended, and she had little to do with those people and companies from whence her food, medicenes, and safety from dangerous products and people came. When Mr. Payne repeats the, “you didn’t build that” line, he diminishes the efforts of all of those people upon whose shoulders we ALL ride. The use of this statement is as wrong as Harry Reid’s dishonorable and unethical accusation against Romney. As neighbors and UNITED States, we should speak up against lies- even when they support our own goals and candidates. Our Olympians earned their medals all by themselves. Our people provided the environment and infrastructure in which the olympians could train and practice in safety and confidence. Now its time to build a country where we can work together in friendship and as the UNITED States of America.
Respectfully,
C

Get a life, C. Downs! You discredit all those who put in the hard work of building something whether it be a business or personal goals. If we are going to get down to the ‘basics’, then no one built or created anything except God. Who took nothing and made everything.

Mitt Romney said this in 2002 during the Salt Lake City Olympics:
“You Olympians, however, know you didn’t get here solely on your own power. For most of you, loving parents, sisters or brothers, encouraged your hopes, coaches guided, communities built venues in order to organize competitions. All Olympians stand on the shoulders of those who lifted them. We’ve already cheered the Olympians, let’s also cheer the parents, coaches, and communities. All right!.”

@Respectful Troll
Sadly that will not happen, because those who are too lazy to succeed insist that we support them in their laziness and do not try to succeed.
