What’s New on GoComics!
Welcome to the new GoComics.com! While you make yourself feel at home, here’s a look at some of the biggest changes:
UCLICK GoComics? What’s up with that? Uclick is the company that owns and operates GoComics. We’ve added the Uclick name to GoComics to help users find some of the other cool things Uclick does online. Just click on the Uclick logo to find games, text columns, cookbook features, mobile phone content and more.
One-stop Search bar – Our new search bar is extremely powerful! Now whenever you enter a term, you’ll be taken to a results page that lists every feature, creator bio, comment or tag in which your term appears.
New Navigation bar – Every feature now has this brand new navigation bar, with controls that make it easier to get around.
- Enlarge feature – To blow up a comic, just click on the comic!
- Sharing – Click the Share link below any comic to send it to your friends. Besides email, you can also share comics on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and more!
- Subscribe Free/Email Me This Daily – Click these links to register for a free GoComics account or a Comics Genius account and get the comics you want, when you want them.
- More – Here’s where you’ll find the links to print the comic, buy a print, subscribe to the RSS feed and unsubscribe.
All Comics – This is the Comics A to Z list, where you’ll see the features listed before and after the comic you’re currently reading.
Collections – This is a list of shared collections in which the comic you’re reading appears. If you’ve already added the comic to one or more of your collections, those collections will be listed here. And don’t forget: If you want to have multiple collections with unlimited comics, get a Genius account!
New Footer – The new footer appears on every page and includes our most popular links. No matter where you go on the new GoComics.com, you’re just one click away from our entire list of comics, making it faster and easier to find the ones you want to read.
New GoComics Account features:
Free account: Now you get this handy comics carousel with your free GoComics account! Subscribe to a comic and the icon will appear in the carousel on your comics page. You can still read just one at a time, but navigating to other comics you’ve subscribed to is now much easier!
Comics Genius, formerly GoComics Pro: Read all of your comics on a single page, with even more powerful controls under each comic.
Homepage:
Look in the top left column to find your Account Info – your profile, favorites, comics pages and collections.
The Comics Activity Feed is now in the left sidebar. This brings you the latest Comic News and Blog Feeds
