It all started when Phoebe skipped a rock across a pond and accidentally hit a unicorn in the face. Improbably, this led to Phoebe being granted one wish, and using it to make the unicorn, Marigold Heavenly Nostrils, her obligational best friend. But can a vain mythical beast and a nine-year-old daydreamer really forge a connection?

Panel 4 reminds me of what my horse must be thinking sometimes!
Phoebe did remember to say the magic word, “Please”.

Apparently, one does not give orders to a unicorn.

Reminds me of the last time I tried to ride one of mine. Shortly after he finally did move, I was eating dirt. Guess I need lessons. I checked out the sketches. Incredible work! If I’m not careful, I’ll start watching MLP too.

Nice to know Unions don’t need combination locks to keep from being stolen off the bike rack. Though from personal experience people will cut threw your lock any how. Though this one time in winter it was so could the biked were frozen too the rack by rain that turned to ice right off. I’m not 100% sure those bikes ARE chained down come tho think of it.
And are we going to sing that same Santa song every strip this week?
Any how I was daydreaming Unicorn Christmas corrals and visions of Phoebe, Marigold, , Max and Dakota singing them All day today.
Any how just be glad one can’t jack a unicorn. At least not with out a mirror and a chunk of fresh sod and some apples.

I hope so! I want to know how it all goes. :-)
(Notice; we’re getting a different verse each day.)

The few times my sister talked me into riding with her, I got the same reaction from the horse. Surprise followed by a polite inquiry into my sanity.

Horses have an amazing ability to determine the skill level of their riders and will give them only the level of respect they have earned.
