It all started when Phoebe skipped a rock across a pond and accidentally hit a unicorn in the face. Improbably, this led to Phoebe being granted one wish, and using it to make the unicorn, Marigold Heavenly Nostrils, her obligational best friend. But can a vain mythical beast and a nine-year-old daydreamer really forge a connection?

Elephant? Yeah, it does look a little like an elephant’s. And if a narwhal’s horn is actually a tusk… um… How is it Marigold is glaring at me right now?

nice use of fonts. Wish I could find one for sarcasm!

It is a very nice tail and a lot more unique than the other tails I saw on other horses.

It’s not like a horse tail at all. Horse tails are actually pretty short except for the long hair.

It keeps people from making violin bows out of it.

I’ve never noticed how long her tail is – she can make a lasso out of it
-and yes, get it stuck in things.rocketscientist said, 10 months ago
@Lisa 4romMpls
I think it’s as long as it needs to be for Marigold’s purposes. If she needed it to be such, it could be an unending tail. [ waits for the rimshot ]

I’ve seen horse flies and deer flies, but is there such a thing as a unicorn fly?
Also, I went to a unicorn name generator website. My unicorn name is Acorn Sparkle Coat, which is kind of lame.

Violin bows are made only of siberian horses, thats why there’s so much chinese violins and stuff…

“More unique?” Unique means, “the only on of its kind.” Therefore, nothing can be “more unique” than anything. It really annoys me when people misuse words like that.

I’m actually a defender of the notion that uniqueness can have degrees. It’s a useful idea. I avoid using the phrase “more unique” myself mostly because people say stuff like that to me when I do, but I do think uniqueness can have degrees and we sticklers ought to allow for that. :)

One should never pull an animal’s tail.

?MHN has polarity on magic? Hmmm humans have always prized just the horn. What happens to the magic if tail goes out of alignment for positive/neg flow when the power gets churning?
