It all started when Phoebe skipped a rock across a pond and accidentally hit a unicorn in the face. Improbably, this led to Phoebe being granted one wish, and using it to make the unicorn, Marigold Heavenly Nostrils, her obligational best friend. But can a vain mythical beast and a nine-year-old daydreamer really forge a connection?

Ah, I miss Sugar Bomb Pops. They were really good with an extra cup of sugar…

Sadly, some humans really do like explosions too well. I think there really was a “Kaboom”! Ah yes, http://www.retroland.com/kaboom/

Phoebe’s mother’s Sugar Kabooms must be like a different brand of Calvin’s Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs. Sort of like Cheerios from General Mills and Toasted Oats from Kashi.

Small controlled explosions like firecrackers are best.
Washington and Oregon have the same accident rate (less than five each per year) but Washington allows pretty much everything and Oregon basically allows nothing in it’s fireworks.

Small controlled explosions like in internal combustion engine are even better! ) Wait, Phoebe is a bit young for that sorta stuff.. Or is she?…. )

I was, actually, mostly thinking about “Smacks,” which were previously “Honey smacks” and before that “Sugar smacks.”

What we ate when we were kids. Makes you sick now. Sad really.
I remember those wintergreen “cigarettes” we couldn’t get enough of. If we saw them today… never mind. Gotta keep this G-rated…

I remember those! Mom would allow us to buy a box occasionally.

Sugar comes from a plant so it’s also vegan.

For pure, unadulterated sticky sugar, nothing could top the long-gone Post cereal “Rice Krinkles,” which were pretty much the same product as Kellogg’s “Rice Krispies,” but coated with a sticky, sweet, gooey honey glaze that made Cap’n Crunch look healthy. And, as a free bonus, they had one of the most politically incorrect box mascots around—a stereotypical Asian character (complete with conical “coolie” hat) named “SoHi”!

Expanding universe from a point, reaches a point and reviews its options. What was the point?
Dampwaffle said, 12 months ago
I will see your Rice Krinkles and raise you with the stereotypical hillbilly from “hoo haw” Frosted Sugar Stars.
This cartoon is adorable, though I do have my doubts about a concept that took so long to develop and only after going through so many studies and focus groups. Reminds me of how Pepsi went two million dollars over budget and took two years to come up with a name for their new one calorie soda: and the best the wanks could come up with was “Pepsi One”. They could have just given ME the two millions and I would have saved them several years. ha ha.

Same company that makes Calvin’s “Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs”.
