    Cats are not dogs, son.

My cat follows me most of the time. Even comes much of the time when I call. She had a tough life when young, so I wonder if that’s part of it.

Of course, that goes back to the following statement: Dogs have masters, Cats have servants.

Before she died of old age, my little Lily would run from the neighbors’ backyard when I pulled in to the court in my truck. She’d just be running her tiny heart out until she got within about 10 feet of me.

Then she’d act like she couldn’t care less! And she wouldn’t let me pet her in the front yard. Back yard and inside the house, yes, but in public? Oh No!

No one can herd a cat.

Don’t try to herd cats. It wastes your time and annoys the cat.

Probably and your love for her has more than made up for it :-) That is why she comes to you whenever you call her :-)
