My folks had an old dog that would lie in the closet and cross his paws over his head whenever it stormed. If a tornado was overhead, he’d howl like a siren.

When I was a Cub and Cats refused to come form hiding when called, we fired up the old eletric can opener and within secinds cats were underfoot loooking up and meowing.

My dog (a boxer) was the same way, if she heard the electric can opener she was there !! Didn’t matter if it was her can of food being opened or not !!! LOL I miss that dog !!
