Your mother has one word for you, Dean: “bathtub.”

Dirt, a living thing. It takes over small kids like Dean, reducing them to dirt zombies…

Dean lives in the city. No frog ponds, mud holes, woods, brooks, cow pastures, or anything else nearby. How did he get so dirty?

    Where there’s a will there’s a way.
He sure must have been having fun, lots of it!

Better to use the shower. Less chance of clogging the drain.

We lived in the city as kids and could manage to find plenty of dirt . And mom tried to cure us of getting that way but we had no shame stripping down to the tighty whites on the front porch to be hosed down was actually fun on a very hot day . Ah the horrible old days when kids could run free before the news media run rampant with fear-mongering caused parents to panic if the kiddo is out of sight or direct control for 30 seconds.
