Now here is a story for you. It’s one of Stuart MacLean’s best. (Around Christmas, listen to “Dave Cooks The Turkey”)

Stuart MacLean “The Waterslide” on the “Vinyl Café”

Starts at 26 Minutes 39 Seconds and is 22 Minutes 35 Seconds long, but it’s a very gentle and funny story of kids curing their summer doldrums with a waterslide.

Looks like the whole concert arc was anti-climatic and just fizzled out.

It actually feels more like a dud.

Life/Reality… One BIG Ugly Disappointment to children everywhere… that deserves a good bludgeoning up and down the street.

Come on! Kids know how to improvise. Sliding backwards, while standing up, while standing on your head, … until somebody breaks something, and the kiddie pool ends up in the dumpster. That’s what childhood is all about!

Starting today, in “Heart of the City”:

Heart and Dean ponder “The Mystery of the Vanishing Buildings”!

Only if the slide was longer then you can really have fun Dean.

Always wondered why they had those little slides. Even as a kid there wasn’t enough to justify the loss of pool space.
