I thought Dean was her Prince Charming.

…and now you know why Heart would have grown up old and alone.

On a positive note, she’s wearing her tu-tu.

Rerun, 2008. I fell into that trap as well.

Addie (that is Heart’s mom’s name, isn’t it?), if it is Heart’s “prince charming”, I think you are going to want introductions to the unmarried uncle or something. A brother would probably be MUCH too young for you. Or else you might need to take out a restraining order on Heart’s prince, ’cause he could be WAY too old for her.

OK, so I guess it is possible that brother Princes COULD be a couple decades apart in age, but it doesn’t seem likely to me.

For those who are puzzled, this strip is from 2008.

My oldest brother is ten years older than me. And I have cousins who are (I believe) twelve years apart. A couple of decades? Maybe not likely or common, but not impossible.

It may not be a common occurrence, but it happens. My oldest sister had her second child when she was 21. My next oldest sister had her first child at 20. And my mother had her last child (of 10) when she was 40. And these 3 babies were all born the same week. So my baby sister is 20 and 21 years younger than my 2 oldest sisters. (I was the sixth child.) And my baby sister is aunt to the 2 others of the same age.
