I just saw a picture on a friend’s Facebook (not of the friend) a fellow with three vertical piercings in front of his eyes; they were like prison cells for his peepers!

Apparently there are health risks associated with excessive body piercings.

Lots of people I can think of would do well with body piercings — about .44 cal. would do….

Can’t understand body piercings. Especially tongue piercings. Aside from all of the infection risks, people (especially young people) don’t seem to know that tongue piercing was used as a punishment on runaway slaves when they were caught and returned to their masters. (In America, this was.)

Some people feel the need for body modification. Tattoos, piercings (all kind of places) and plastic surgery. Maybe soon they will be able to do more substantial changes with nanobots.

It looks like Heart’s Mother’s ears are pierced.

Heart, start with asking if you can your ears pierced. And if Mum says “no” there, just quit while you’re ahead.

I haven’t even pierced my ears, because I don’t want any more holes in my body than what I was born with. But I use clip-ons.

Punching holes in your body in order to hang ornaments from it.

You are lucky. I had to get my ears pierced because any clip-ons I would put on would irritate my earlobs or fall off mt earlobs.
