Maybe he can play John Bell Hood.
R.E. Lee: "It is a bad time to release the commander of an army situated as that of Tennessee. We may lose Atlanta and the army too. Hood is a bold fighter. I am doubtful as to the other qualities necessary. "

One of my ancestors helped burn Atlanta. Start a war, be prepared for the consequences.

Ancestors on both sides. Even to the splitting of families, apparently.
.
Hood wasn’t the best choice for defending Atlanta. Johnston was a better strategist, but he made the mistake of telling his president that he had to be on the defensive because of the 2:1 odds and better equipment of the Federals. Sherman was “delighted” when Johnston was relieved and Hood put in charge, because while he couldn’t take Atlanta with the forces he had without great loss, he figured Hood would attack him and solve the problem. Which Hood did. Hood kept attacking and losing and the rest is history.

Huh? Heart knows enough about Star Wars to be commenting on such details? I thought she hated the series.

Does Pork come to fetch Scarlett from Miss Belle Watling’s place?

I’m pretty sure Dean made her watch them a while ago, and she ended up appreciating them, but still not becoming a true fan.

Just remember that Starkiller was female in the very earliest beginnings of “Star Wars” thought.

Nabuquduriuzhur: There is no oral tradition in my family from that period. Like many, I had ancestors and once- and twice- removed fore-bearers on both sides in that war, twice and possibly thrice, they were on both sides in the same battle. To keep peace, the subject was never discussed until my generation.
.
In the 1990s, my father suddenly realized that he was born closer that war than to the present. A few years ago, I thought of that for no particular reason – and realized so was I.

Perhaps a better title would be “Gone With the Rewind”?

“In the 1990s, my father suddenly realized that he was born closer that war than to the present. "
That’s almost true now with me and World War I. I first thought WWII would be about right, but did the math and it’s way off…
