Honest, librarian, Dean didn’t smuggle a cat in on purpose.

Had a neighbor’s cat like that. Kept sneaking into my truck to go for rides (yes, strange cat).
You can imagine my surprise the first time when I was on my way to work, driving at night, when suddenly this dark furry blob emerges from under your seat and gets on your pants leg to say hello.
After that, I was very careful to check for extra passengers.

My cat would often come into the garage when I came home at night. Black cat …dark garage … needless to say … he would sometimes wind up locked in overnight.
Unfortunately … the garage didn’t have a litter box!

Before I finally adopted the cat, she’d leap onto windows, wanting to get in (and leave her drug house “home”). I was brushing my teeth one night when this dark THING suddenly attaches itself to the screen of the window. THUNK!
.
Needless to say, I had to clean up the toothpaste…

My brother had a cat that followed him during his newspaper route, then would get a free ride home in his newspaper sack.

Does he have to go to the library to read his own comic book?

GIGGLE :-) That would of been one kitty that I would ask the neighbor if I could take on rides just to avoid any surprises like that :-)

GIGGLE :-) Hey, it could of been worse :-) You could of been in the shower when that happened :-) I am so glad to hear that you adopted that little sweetie and gave her a loving forever home :-)

Book stores traditionally had a cat. Now that the corporations have abolished free enterprise bookstores, maybe libraries can continue the custom – until the corporations take over openly and abolish reading (see Fahrenheit 451).
