I have to hope that Andy Sirkis gets some kind of award this time — he really is amazing… and he should be awarded for it. Even if they have to create a new category!

Okay… off soapbox now.

It is nice to have the novel to draw on when I saw “The Hobbit” today. With the additions which fit well and slight retelling of some scenes still worked. I had read half way so they never made it yet to the chapter about spiders. That comes next in the dark wood.

… makes me shudder with creepy delight for you! I just love those books, and “The Hobbit” was the first I read — back when I was totally (and easily) creeped-out by spiders.

Hopefully, “The Academy” will listen to its wider audience, and step up to the task. It’s just the right thing to do.

This is fun to watch… especially the last several minutes!

@Bailey
I am more friendly to spiders, but I do not beard a spider in its den.
