Research would be reading the books, which is something I don’t think many people do anymore. Or at least not anyone associated with getting the new movies made. We need to get together and buy the people in charge a complete set of the books so they have a clue.

Was the original Star Wars originally a book? Never heard of that, would be interested to find and read it if so. But, although there are books written after the movie, I think originally it was a screen play.

As part of it, some scenes that didn’t originally make it into the movies – like Luke and Biggs on Tatooine – were in there.

Did anyone else read Splinter of the Mind’s Eye years ago? It’s a Star Wars book that came out before the second movie. It does not fit with the story line at all
