I would rather own Star Trek.

If I had 4 billion dollars I would buy Opera and send her to North Korea. I would also send Godfrey to Afghanistan.

Trek is ok, but I would rather buy DS9, Babylon 5, Lexx and Far Scape. Oh and Trippin the Rift. They all deserve new films.

Often I’ve wondered why the 1930s pulp Science Fiction series by E.E. (Doc) Smith, entitled “The Lensmen” has never been adapted to the film medium.

I would use the money to make a decent season 5 of Kim Possible (of Disney) and use the extra money to buy things I want.

Pulp fiction though it was, the reader still had to think. Does that answer your question?
.
Incidentally, I ran across a paper back book in my local library titled “Triplanetary” by E.E. Doc Smith.
.
The publisher was either conned or made a major mistake. It wasn’t.

I’d like to see them do a sequel – or sort of – of Kim Possible: the “tweebs,” a few years older, less grabby, more mature. Cousin Joss also, being the star of girl’s track – new stories, new adventures – Kim and Ron appearing occasionally; not often, but once in a while. The first season, maybe at the end of the season, a Kim and Ron wedding. Imagine Joss as a bridesmaid, Jim and Tim as ushers, Hanna as a flower girl. Picture it!

Well at least The Knight Life was about something else today. How old is Tatulli? 50? You would think he’d be over it by now.

There was a Japanese anime version done 10 or 20 years ago, be glad you didn’t see it.

Great books as it happens I am rereading them at this time. The earlier Skylark of Space was also very good.

Tripanetary is the first book of the Lensmen Series.
Was it some other book with the wrong cover? I have ran into that with paperbacks twice in my life.

Same here! I would just LOVE to see all of Tolkin’s books made into movies! Man, New Zealand would be over-run by fans :-) Me, included, once I have enough money to do so :-)
