   For some people, whoop is the same thing as what others call whup. Either synonymous with whip in context.

   it was a word used when I was a kid. Like “your ass is going to get a whoopen”

   as a kid people said it like this: “whup”. as a kid the word: whop means to stomp heavily.

    He is 15. Not an adult by age, temperament nor actions. And he deserves a whupping every other day for his selfishness and greedy outlook. Makes me SO glad I don’t have kids.
