Good for Heart’s mom for trying to teach her daughter at a young age how to properly behave in restaurants. It’s a great lesson for kids. Now whether or not Heart will actually learn that lesson is another question altogether.

Scream and throw things. Modern culture seems to think that’s OK

Heart could have worn her Boa and it would look appropriate.

LOL…I well remember going to restaurants where the placemats had word games and pictures to color, and there was always a small container of crayons (with the really, really necessary color always missing). I no longer need to eat at those places, but still kind of miss them…

I’ll bet Capt Butthead eats at them all the time, and tries to regale the waitresses with his whimsical remarks and colorful reminisses of the not-so-interesting past of Okie ville, where the land is flat and so is his head, from when his mama dropped him on it shortly after he was born.

    Ya know?

I wonder why some parents let their kids run around in restaurants? I am so annoyed by this. My kids weren’t loowed to…
Oh and the local pancake restaurant over here has activity placements with crayons in little cups. Awesome!

Amy > You’re right. It is good for Hearts mom to teach her child that lesson.
Still, you can’t deny Heart has a point.
