THX-1138! One of my favorite movies…. Still I find it hard to believe that Dean would like it…. Rather distopian.

Are you now, or have you ever been?

Of course, with Dean, “normal” is relative (^_^)

That movie sounds just like George Orwell’s “1984”. Brrrrr… Stories like that give me the creeps. Who let Dean, who’s only, what, ten years old, near such a movie? I know he’s a fan of George Lucas, but still…
I would never be able to fit into a dystopian society like that, hardly even into a “normal” dictatorship. I’m such a disobedient and emotional person, that even if they wanted me to take a drug like that, I would probably have to refuse, no matter what the consequences of that might have been, or maybe even start fighting its effects.

THX-1138 reminds me of Zanger and Evans on the radio back then; “In the Year 2525”. Beyond Dean, but who knows?

I’m still hoping he’ll be Tim the Enchanter again. Maybe this time, he’ll spring for the fireworks.

He’s gonna go as Jumping Jack Flush
He’s gonna be quite a…..ahem…..hush
If he plays cards, he’ll be the joker
If he knows anything about poker
He’ll get it over with in a rush

THX-1138 pops up a lot in Lucas’ later movies. Cell block 1138 from Star Wars is just one example. The THX Sound System is another.
