    Cats are actually aliens with superior intelligence visiting the Earth to observe us lesser lifeforms. These beings just happen to like pushing buttons, testing to see just how much they can annoy us.

    They also have internal radar: in a crowded room, they can find the one person who is allergic to them. Then they spend the rest of the night rubbing against that person’s legs–or curled up on that one person’s coat on the bed, despie the other 30 coats there.
