A Haiku for Allison
Such wonderful art
Friday is Allison day
T.G.I.A.D.
Excellent humor
Intertwined with cleverness
and cute animals
What great poetry
Allison is a genius
Bringing us pleasure
Meaningful subjects
Stories about animals
And yet true to life
Her strip conveys love
Allison adopted Luc
We’ve adopted her
Allison: I’ve been following Haiku Ewe since April 2010, when the repeat of your original series began.
I’ve read all of your Haiku Ewe strips, but this is the first time I have commented here.
I want to tell you what a great strip you have created. You have given so much pleasure to so many people.
Haiku Ewe is about love and kindness. I am sure that this describes your life with your son, as well. Your love and kindness have created a wonderful strip for us, and a home and a future for your son.
Someday you will feel that you have given this strip all that you have to give. Whether that happens tomorrow or years from now, all of us will be richer for the gift that you have given us.
Meanwhile, we will enjoy each day that another Haiku Ewe strip appears.
Our lives are also like that. We don’t know when the end will come, but in the meantime, we should savor each day as a gift, and enjoy it to the fullest.
Life is a journey
Many diffferent phases
Balance is required
Life is decisions
Setting of priorities
A permanent task
Life is poetry
When it is in good balance
Like a great haiku
Life is at its best
When doing things for others
Even when it’s hard
Giving to others:
Adoption and Haiku Ewe
Two wonderful gifts

Allison is a poet
A master of the Haiku
We’re richer for it.

Be careful what you wish for…
Is knowledge power?

Perception is false.
Reality requires thought,
And much longer stick !

Where are your frends, Ewe?
To balance, we know you can.
