    YES!!! YOU GO HAIKU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Teach that rotten farmer a lesson in messing with little Lionel Haiku!!!

Even Scott is in total shock! Show “ewe” (you) that a Mother (including a adopted Mother) is VERY VERY protective of thier young & very dangerous too! And when someone endangers thier young The mother goes into the protective mode and ATTACKS the “attacker ” who’s going to hurt or harm the little one!

P.S. I like the expression of Lionel’s eyes. It’s as if he is thinking, “MOM! Whaddaya doin’?!?”

And Scott… I never knew snakes could be shocked and horrified.

This is what that expression means - “The female of the species is more deadly than the male.” Not in general, but if you get between a mother and her child - BEWARE! She cares naught for her own safety!

After all, it’s the survival instinct speaking, the survival of the species.

I hope this all turns out ok. Good luck Haiku!!
