   Hi everyone!

   Today is a very very very big day. Lionel is based on my real life son. We started the adoption paperwork 3 years ago. And we received the referral for our little boy over 1.5 years ago. Right now, my husband and I are at the airport in Miami. In a little over an hour, we will fly to Haiti to bring our sweet son home forever! “Lionel”’s name is Luc and he is 21 months old. It is an amazing wonderful beautiful and slightly scary day. “Slightly scary” might be the understatement of the year!
