EWE tell him, Haiku! Besides, I have it on relatively good authority that lamb is too rich for snakes… ;-)

but why would snake be wanting to eat the lamb after going to all that trouble to bring Haiku to see it?

maybe that snake needs to go to advanced decency awareness training and leave the little one alone

Snake is just playing with the baby- he doesn’t have any fingers, so he makes faces. Haiku is freaking out like any new parent would.

auntiekristi: Nope, he’s really trying to eat the baby.

Ceceee: Snakes aren’t very bight and he was thinking they could enjoy it together. Like when a cat puts a dead mouse on your doorstep.

All: Scott’s not so bad, he just needs to unlearn particular behaviors here and there.

    Oh come on, serpent!
    Eating a defenseless lamb?
    What stupidity!

I look forward to Haiku teaching the snake his lesson. The baby looks pretty amused by the whole thing, though!

@bigg3469, I agree with you entirely!! totally!! in stripes!! (like on the snake!!)

snakes and squirrels and certain birds LOVE to eat defenseless baby animals, eggs, etc. because these require the least effort on the part of the predator. UNLESS someone comes along to protect them (see above)…

(Remember that he ate the birds…)

I must say, I WAS hoping this was not what the snake had in mind!!

I don’t think the baby lamb is smiling at all. To me the lamb looks terrified - Hoping Haiku will Help it out. That’s what true art is - different people may see utterly different things in it.

Ok, that takes care of my daily quota of exclamation points - it was very easy in this case…!

!! rinafarina !! How you do exclaim!!! :-D

My, Haiku has changed from when the birds were in trouble. But that’s to be expected with it being a baby lamb. One of her own after all.

I think that snake just needs to learn new ways, as Al says. I don’t think Haiku will let the baby be harmed.
