I have always hated those bragger letters.
    .
One year I was going to do one and actually sent one out to a friend who called me and as we talked, she let me know how self absorbed the letter sounded, so I threw all the rest of them away and swore I would never ever do another one.

See no sense in a “Christmas letter”. That’s stuff, if it were true, isn’t something to tell in a end of the year letter.

I wonder if he even bothers to check into these allegations? Such people tend to be fakes. Otherwise they normally wouldn’t need to mention it all of the time. I would demand they show proof of all this. Easy enough to check the Nobel’s this year and last year.

No gaping void….just translate the letter accurately!

For instance…Chuck’s ‘promotion’ was based on the fact that he has too much seniority to fire and has been promoted up even tho he is incompetent.

Ashley’s ‘challenging year’ was because the family could not get her away from party after party and she is struggling to pass her courses. She decided to volunteer as a way to guilt her course teachers into giving her a ‘C.’

Chuck engages in massive delusion and was able to convince his family that, one day, he might actually earn a Nobel…
