She had the time of her life in her prime; other wise she would not be dealing with her grand kids.

One acquaintance keeps harping about mobility issues and tells me that I’ll be in the same position when I hit 70; I finally asked her if she was walking 2-3 miles a day in her 50s and 60s (which I do). Apparently not, even though she could have back then.

This reminds me of my dad. He’s jealous that I can still see. But I remember him drinking enormous quantities of alcohol and guzzling gallons of super strong coffee. I always ate health food. Does he consider that? No. He thinks it’s luck.

I started BMX racing when I turned 40. I expect to still be on a bicycle when I am 80.
