As a kid, I wouldn’t have even got a cold hotdog.

This strip does not have even the slightest hint of politics in it. Why are you putting it there? Flagged.

My Dad might have replied, “Come here, you little smart a$$! I have a belt-ing with your name on it!”

Except that I would never said such a smart a$$ thing to a grown up. Nor even to my big brothers.

But if he is like me and never had steak, then he may not have an idea that steak comes in different levels of rawness. I also grew up not knowing arithmetic and classic literature even existed. But I did learn that men and women are separate, but equal. Or maybe that women are superior to men, but should be given things by them. There were Cosmo magazines around our house – the only reading material.

I drove mine crazy by just not eating at all! rotfl!

But I have opinions about the way steak should be cooked :-)

I think this is a fundamental cause for a lot of problems. Two viewpoints with different concepts of ‘common sense’.
