These elementary teachers do work hard. I’m thankful for them. My education stopped at the sixth grade. In middle school and high school, sports took over the school. The male teachers at that level are corrupt.

They didn’t seem to be corrupt in the 70’s down in the only town that has a monument, right there in the middle of the street, to a noxious insect: the Boll Weevle.
There was only 1 high school in Coffee County, and it was located in Enterprise, Al. They all seemed to be professional and cared about their job and their students.
Couldn’t say how they are now.

“Corrupt” may seem like a strong word but it applies to my school. An alcoholic principal with the football coaches in charge is too much. I never wanted to be on the football team. But I had no choice in the matter because I was big sized. I didn’t want to be in a math class with a bad teacher who did not teach. My test scores were good and I should have been in a good math class. These things will hurt a person.
