    papajoe681: Probably significant in the joke, but is grandma that old? Seems like she would have had the benefits of fluoridated water and modern dentistry. I would peg her as in her 50s, early 60s at most. At 80, I still have most of mine and all only 55 or so years old. (I did spend childhood where the public water supply was ground water and so naturally fluoridated.)

    btw, flouride only works to strengthen teeth when painted on the outside of the teeth. Otherwise, flouride is a registered toxin. In smaller amounts, it is a seditive.

    Please don’t give your babies flouridated water!

    Age doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with it. I got my dentures at age 30. Dr said I should have gotten them 10 years sooner. My youngest sister got hers at age 21. Our other 8 siblings still have their own teeth.
