    Personally, I’d prefer never getting a “refund” from Uncle Sam… I’d rather pay in every year so that I have control over my money instead of giving the government an interest-free loan. :-(

    burleigh2: The interest-free loan can be avoided on your W-2. Get a tax lawyer if you can’t figure it out. You will, of course, have a whopping payment due in April, but if you hate the government that much, move to Ba’harain. Of course, if you are not of the royal family, you will have no rights, and if not of the right ethnos, be a slave, but you will be tax-free.

    No, no, no. That is not for the vast majority of us. It is only the top 1% or less that get hit with estate tax. The far “right” has brainwashed people into thinking the estate tax hits everybody.
