    Yes, you can sue, but will lose as the J.P will defend with “assumption of the risk”

    Actually, people marry each other. The JP, priest, etc only witness the event, just as a notary witnesses your signature and verifies it.
    SO… sue your partner…. which is what you do when you want a divorce. That will cost you.
    Interesting system we have, no?
