That was pretty odd, I understand the last two years his approval rating went down hard.

Something on the order of a 6% turnout in the primary. Now do people see the importance of voting?

Yeah. This cartoon says more about the cartoonist than it does about the political situation.

More vilification of the TEA Party by the Left. They must be desperate.

That boat’s floating high in the septic tank, and no grass left to be “greener”.

Vilification by the left? Go back the last ten cartoons. At least half of them are trashing Obama.

don’t any of you think that it is high time to remove the do nothing politicians in congress?

Conservatives are trying to clean up their mess.

Why is it that liberals are so happy with the status quo?

I am honestly unable to follow your logic. To me, you are 180 degrees out of phase.
    .
Conservatives are trying to clean up their mess.
    .
Oh really? And how are they going about it, besides the same ol’ same-o? Tax cuts, Tax breaks for millionaires. Corporate welfare for mega corporations. De-regulating the financial institutions that came close to destroying the world economy. Shut down the government. Sequestration. Attack science. Attack unions. Attack Food Stamps. Attack gays. Attack minorities. Offshoring jobs. Oppose anything proposed by Democrats, no matter what. The list goes on and on.
    .
Why is it that Conservatives are so happy doing nothing or passing laws that hurt people?

Because the status quo is all about control.

    @Zuhlamon

Well see you have mistaken my meaning of the word “conservative”.

The “republican” party has an establishment with a “party” line and policy. Certainly they have been for the corporations above the people for a long time. To be fair, democrats also have an affinity for corporate funds.

As I have stated many times, every last incumbent needs to be removed and replaced with someone who is not on the corporate payroll.

    Both parties.

    An extremely hard task.

STILL, we see some “conservatives” (not necessarily republicans) who want to change the landscape in DC. They were elected by those that want a smaller fiscally responsible government.

As much as the “establishment” may say they are also for smaller government, NONE of them pass any legislation to accomplish that goal.

Big government, government largesse and corporate special interest mean big bucks.

Building hate and keeping US (you and I) divided keeps them on call to handle the next big crisis.

Cantor is part of the problem, as is Reid and Bohner. We need to put some common men with the only agenda to help we the people into office.

    BUT money talks.

AND he that has the gold rules.

Some of us “conservatives” (not republicans) are trying to change that.

The media has gone overboard in demonizing these people.

And YOU have taken their word as gospel.
