Can McCoy come up with ONE SINGLE REPORT of identity theft through the ACA web site? Just one? Of course, he also believes that voter fraud is rampant.

Hey! What a great way to discourage people from signing up!

Uh … why didn’t they just leak a rumour? Sabotaging the security was unnecessary; people believe all the stupid rumours anyway.

More incompetence. Anything to prevent people getting access to health care.

Just think of it like this: What if Amazon.com worked like Obamacare?
    .
You go on the site and after you enter your personal data, mailing address, credit card, and other information they then tell you about all sorts of discounts and specials you are eligible for. When you have waded through numerous screens and a complete invasion of privacy you finally get to look at their merchandise.
But, they only have a limited selection and it is mostly over-priced. So, you decide to not buy anything angered at having to waste your time.
Then six months later a large charge shows up on your credit card which Amazon explains was in the fine print you agreed to (not wanting to read all 2,700 pages of the agreement) to sign into the sight for NOT buying anything!
    .
    THAT is Obamacare!

Huh? The Healthcare.gov site requires you to put in multiple screens of personal data when you enter the site. That is followed by a calculation on potential government subsidies you may be entitled to. Only after all that are you allowed to see the potential policies, their costs, deductables, and coverage. If you don’t buy one and don’t have health insurance then the IRS is going to hit you with a “tax” penality down the road.
    .
My analogy, you do know what an analogy is right?, using Amazon parallels that experiance on healthcare.gov fairly closely.
    .
As it is just an analogy why do I need to provide “sources?”

Comrade JG, please understand that your identity is no longer needed in the collective. Only certain party officials can have claims to such privileges as an identity!

Comrade Koenig, how undignified of you to make use of a smiley face. Shouldn’t we have a an image of father Lenin striking a pose?

    The Navigators ladies and gentlemen:
Felons could have been hired as ObamaCare ‘navigators,’ Sebelius tells Senate panel.

The federal government passed this law and they expect the states to pay for its management.

The Healthcare.gov site requires you to put in multiple screens of personal data when you enter the site.

It’s pretty obvious you don’t buy your own insurance. EVERY insurance site requires you to give them the same data. In your case, you’re employer just gives the data to them on your behalf. Hope you have a trustworthy HR department…

A quick look at the Google tells me that there are people working in the private insurance industry get sent to jail for fraud & identity theft all the time.

As usual, rather than insisting on background checks for anyone involved with handling sensitive data, the conservatives say, “We can’t fix it. It must be repealed!”

BTW, the private insurers have a pretty lousy track record on protecting electronic data.

If nobody can get on, how do they enter their data for thieves who also can’t get on to steal?
    .
Pretty clear why the guy’s name is McCoy and not Spock.
