$3 Billion every year in financial aid to Israel and another $8 PER DAY in military “aid”. We’ve backed worse administrations, like Pinochet, and Central American debacles, so keeping balance may keep the right people “nervous”?

Maybe he remembers the response to the Benghazi murders.

And yet under Pinochet, as under Franco, the inferstructure for a successful free socitiy that was the envy of many of it’s neighboors, was put in place.

True, but that dosen’t make it appropiate when we are having presidenial hissy fits about reductions in projected spending of not much more. that said I would not object to cutting much of our aid to much of the world, outside of natural disaters relief. also the UN except for WHO.

The issue here is that we have the sequester, and the Obama administration is throwing hissy fits and instructing agencies to make it as painful as possible, but we can still ship $250 million to a government whose legitimacy is tenuous, at best. Authorized by Congress or not, it’s not prudent when we Chicken Little is calling for the sky to fall.

How the h3ll did this guy become secretary of state? What a step down. Next thing they’ll be trying to shove him down our throats as a presidential candidate.
